Bootstrap Jumbotron Clone

The assignment for the Bootstrap section of Viking Code School‘s advanced prep work involved cloning the jumbotron template from the official Bootstrap documentation. This involved using the Bootstrap grid system of containers, rows, and columns to copy the template using semantic HTML tags. Only a very small amount of custom CSS was needed to modify the color of the navigation bar, the color of the link in the nav bar, and add padding between the jumbotron and navbar. Initially, I did not realize the first “hello world” container needed the separate jumbotron class. Other than that, this was a straightforward assignment that gave me some good practice using some basic Bootstrap.
